Self destruct message is a quirky idea that allows you to direct people to a message which self destructs after they’ve read it. Or, as Dick Slayer, explains..
It is useful when you send a scammer the 10 digit code for a Money Gram receipt or other things.
I’d encourage anybody who receives an email scam to try out this method to wind up the scammers. The more people who waste their time the sooner they will grow tired and disillusioned.
