Highena

I’ve had the dofollow plugin turned on for almost a year now. As Highena has grown more popular since then I’ve had more and more spammy comments to deal with.

Most are actually looking for a Dofollow finder tool or search engine of sorts that they can use to spam blogs. Most of the comments are ridiculous and amateurish, so I just remove the link, or reply with a sarcastic comment.

I’ve recently noticed that Highena is ranking 1st on Google for “Dofollow blog finder”. Obviously this is going to bring more spammers to the site. For now I will leave the plugin turned on, but if it becomes too time consuming to moderate the comments I will have to turn it off.
