Dad’s Facebook account hacked
Bryan Rutberg’s daughter was among the first to notice something odd about her dad’s Facebook page.
At about 8 p.m. on Jan. 21, she ran into his bedroom and asked why he’d changed his status to: “BRYAN IS IN URGENT NEED OF HELP!!!”
You can probably guess the rest. Like when my hotmail account was hacked last year, the scam plays out in the form of the hacker sending emails saying that they’re stranded in a foreign country and need funds to get home.
