A Java trick for selling scams
I just came across a little trick, which used in the wrong hands, could be used for scamming people online. For instance, say you were selling a website and wanted to show proof of earnings, either through Adsense or Paypal affiliate earnings, you can easily edit the page online and then grab a screenshot.
Say for instance you made $10 in the last week through adsense, you can easily change this to $10,000. When people are buying a website they rely on screenshots to see traffic and proof of earnings, so this is a scam they should be aware of.
Obviously, this trick could be used for other less harmful purposes, say for tricking friends by editing their name into a recent news report.
