barclays bank phishing scam
This one’s nearly clever as in it is almost an identical domain name – barcIays.co.uk. Notice the “l” has been changed to an “I”.
Barclays Bank has been notified by numerous members that they have received e-mail requesting account information. We will never ask you to verify your account information via e-mail.
Due to increasing number of fraudulent e-mails claiming to be from Barclays Bank, all Cards, including yours have been deactivated.
We understand that having limited access can be an inconvenience, but protecting your account is our primary concern. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
