A new statue of King of Pop Michael Jackson has been unveiled by his good friend multi-millionaire Mohamed Al Fayed outside the stadium of the football club he owns – Fulham. Reaction from fans has been very mixed. Whilst some have no objections to the statue, others have expressed their distaste of it, with some even saying it’s an embarrassment to the club.

Remote viewing is the paranormal ability to view locations and events around the world within one’s own mind. Those who are successful at this form of unique ESP (extra sensory perception) claim to be able to see places in the past, present and future and have successfully predicted major events before they have occurred.

Although government-funded ESP programs (notably the US’s $20 million Stargate Project) have been abandoned due to insubstantial evidence that remote viewing is achievable, many self-taught remote-viewers claim the ability is real and easily achievable by gifted people with paranormal abilities.

One notable remote viewer who claims to have predicted future events beforehand is ED Dames, the one and only training and operations officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency’s psychic intelligence (PSINT) collection unit. Several years ago he appeared on Japanese TV and US radio (Coast to Coast AM) and announced that a massive earthquake would strike Japan and a nuclear reactor would “break”, causing what he described to host, Art Bell, as a “mini Chernobyl”.

Pastor of The Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name, Apollo C. Quiboloy is a flamboyant Christian leader from the Philippines who claims to be the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Perhaps not the first to lay down claim to be the Messiah, Quiboloy is a lot more popular that previous false prophets – claiming to have 6 million followers worldwide.

He resides in a sprawling compound at the foot of Mt. Apo in Davao City named “New Jerusalem”. Inside the compound is Quiboloy’s pastoral mansion, with a building beside it which is considered the holiest spot in the place – the prayer house. This is the exact place where Quiboloy was born.

It took the United States of America over 400 years to get to its current population figure of 300 million people. In the space of five short years Facebook has grown to a populaion of over 500 million users. If it were an actual country it would be the 3rd most populated in the world, so it comes as no surprise that facebook is now as powerful as some of the world’s strongest nations.

Because of its sheer size in numbers and it’s power on the world stage, in recent months the company has taken steps to ensure it is actually recognized as a country by international law. President Zuckerberg is the head statesman of the nation of Facebook. The UN has granted that the Facebook logo be recognized as the national flag, and Sir Elton John is currently working on a new national anthem.

Over the past eighteen months Facebook has been building up it’s own army of well trained troops and amassing a haul of high-tech weaponry. In a statement issued last Novemeber Facebook stated it only wished to protect itself and its citizens from cyber terrorists and VMDs (Virus’s of Mass Destruction). But, whereas other countries in the past have stated they only have armies and weapons as a form of self-defence, Facebook is now using its military might to expand its empire.

It seems inconceivable, but due to the popularity of reality TV shows, there is now a syndrome called The Truman Show delusion, where sufferers believe they’re are actually the star of a TV show or film, and that the rest of the world is a film set and all the people are actors and actresses.

There have been over 40 reported cases, mostly in the US and UK, which probably tells us something about the effect the trash they put on our screens has on us? An upper-middle class Army veteran who wanted to climb the Statue of Liberty in the belief that doing so would release him from his “show”, described his condition:

I realized that I was and am the center, the focus of attention by millions and millions of people … My family and everyone I knew were and are actors in a script, a charade whose entire purpose is to make me the focus of the world’s attention.

Another sufferer – who had actually worked as an intern on a reality TV show – believed that he was secretly being filmed by cameras. At the polls on Election Day in 2004 he shouted at President Bush: “Judas”. This brought him to the attention of brothers Joel and Ian Gold, who are both psychiatrists. It was these two who coined the term The Truman Show delusion.
