  8. Jill Grant says:

Hi, got this e mail yesterday and replied with my name and tel no as seemed quite believable as did not ask for bank details. Then I led and worried about it all night!! Only gave my name, tel no and occupation so need I be concerned?? Had another e mail today asking for my address etc which I have reported as phishing scam. Is my identity safe??
Well done for making people aware of these idiots!

I didn’t give bank details but gave name and address to send cheque what should i do about ths?

    Thanks

  15. John Thompson says:

Hi, Seemed a very convincing letter but it aroused my suspicion with the address in’Woodgreen” that has always been’Wood Green’
and a postcode for SE1 which is South London.
I used to live near the areas listed.
I googled the address and found your very welcome site.
Well done for publishing these scams but don’t you think the police should do something about this?. Especially as there is a phone number to get hold of the creep.
    Keep up the good work.
