The disadvantages of Advent

Tag: Bloghighena @ 10:43 pm

This Laptop that I’m using now is my mother’s and it is a little over 1 year old. She uses it maybe once a week, writes a few emails and that’s it.

You can find Advent PC’s in PC World for as little as £299.99. Well, you get what you pay for, I suppose. The frame around the screen is cracked in three places. One USB port is unusable, the other I can connect by resting a few coasters under the connection. It has decent anti-virus and holds no huge files, so there’s no reason for the long stalls. It sometimes crashes for no reason. The battery life is about as long as a goldfish’s memory. I could go on and on. I looked on Advent’s website Advent.co.uk and the nearest I got to any means of help was a button for Advent parts and batteries.

Anyway, I’m getting third degree burns on my thighs just writing this.
