Google and Chinese propaganda

Well, Youtube is still banned in Thailand. I had thought the matter would be resolved quickly - ie, Google showing some respect to over 65 million people and removing the offensive videos.

If this was about freedom of speech you could understand Google’s reasoning for not removing the videos, but while they’re quite happy to block anything on the net within China that refers to the 1989 Tiananaman Square massacre you have to wonder why they’re being so petty and stubborn with Thailand.

It all seems very two-faced of Youtube and Google.

Having seen the videos mocking Thailand’s King, I can’t see any comedy value in it at all. It was obviously posted mererly as a means to shock and anger Thais.

Anyway, enjoy the below footage. Presuming, of course, you’re not in China or Thailand.
