I’d been thinking of getting a translation tool for the site, but wasn’t exactly sure how to go about it. I knew about Google Translate, but wasn’t certain on where to get the flag icons, or how to implement the code. There were no obvious indications from Google. Luckily, after a bit of searching I came across this very useful site:

When I saw the name of the site, Tips for new bloggers I arrogantly thought, “well, I’m no beginner”, but this site is a wealth of information. And I’m sure there’s some who have been blogging for awhile who will find more than a few useful tips here. It’s very well written and the tutorials are easy to understand.

For the translation, it was a quick copy & paste job, and hey voila! You can see the results on the right-hand side, below the RSS button.

No online translation service is perfect, so if you notice any words that are incorrect or could be bettered please suggest it to Google

A passenger in a cab tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask him how long to the destination. The driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit a bus, went up on the sidewalk, and stopped centimetres from a shop window.

For a second everything went quiet in the cab, then the driver said, “Look mister, please don’t ever do that again. You scared the living daylights out of me!”

The passenger apologized. “I didn’t realize that a little tap could scare anyone so much.”

The driver replied, “You’re right. I’m sorry, it’s not really your fault. Today is my first day as a cab driver. I’ve been driving a hearse for the last 25 years”.

Translation, anybody..?

Can anyone recommend a maroon shade, particularly an OPI one? I usually wear silver (OPI Pearl of Wisdom or Sally Hansen’s Chrome Nail Make-up in psychiatrist had told me that he thought I was fit enough to return to work, and that I was willing to return when the current sick note expired on 17th February. I received an emailed reply from my manager to say that he preferred me to remain at home until he wrote to the psychiatrist.

If I were your boss, I too would recommend staying at home… indefinitely.
